Introduction to TigerBox Custom Enclosures
The "TigerBox" custom enclosure, electrical boxes and cabinet designs are a trademark brand by Nemaco Technology, LLC.   Nemaco has developed it's own style of unique and interesting TigerBox custom enclosure, electrical boxes and cabinet designs and including some common  TigerBox industrial common and custom enclosure shapes and sizes that are unique and are used in manufacturing factories and chemical plants. 

For the TigerBox industrial style custom enclosures, electrical box and cabinet, we have taken some common "off the shelf" enclosure shapes and then added more structual supports and more (of spots, plug and continuous) welds to strengthen the TigerBox enclosures.    Nemaco has never had any interests in following other companie's poor enclosure designs that might have cheap spot welding and very thin sheet metal walls.    In particular, most of the TigerBox alloy carbon steel custom enclosures are completely cleaned (sometimes sanded) and then coated with anti-corrosion phospate coating for rust prevention prior to powder coating and/or painting.    Note that since TigerBox adds protective phosphate ant-corrosion coatings to the enclosures ensures then that the carbon steel enclosures will be much more resistance and form of comtamination or rusting.  Since there is additional protection before powder coating and/or painting, then the metal surface is not contaminated and therefore the coatings should adhere much better.    Since the coatings adhere better then they should are not likely to peel-off easily.   And the TigerBox phosphate coatings will eliminate rust from crawling or migrating across the carbon steel metal surfaces   Therefore, the phosphate coatings greatly reduce rust from migrating and the phosphate coatings provide a guaranty for top quality finish coatings on the custom enclosures and it will prevent the coating from peeling off the enclosure. The Nemaco "TigerBox" carbon steel enclosures always rust preventative coatings in order provide our customers with better enclosure products.

For all "TigerBox" stainless steel common style and custom enclosure, electrical boxes and cabinet designs, Nemaco uses stainless pickling and passivation for rust prevention on most of the stainless enclosures.   Note that many (but not all) of Nemaco customers request pickling and passivation but we recommend the chemical surface treatment process to restore the 304/316 stainless surface back to it original chemical condition prior to welding and other forms of metal fabrication.    Most people don't know that stainless steel chrome molecules (that prevent rust) are destroyed by welding (or melting the metal) the stainless steel.    But, in order to restore the stainless steel enclosures and metal parts, our company Nemaco will have get stainless steel custom enclosures and parts pickled and passivated to ensure better quality for the TigerBox enclosures, electrical boxes and cabinets.

NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R TigerBox Custom Enclosures, Electrical Boxes & Cabinets
The NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R TigerBox Custom Enclosures are available in carbon steel and EG (electrogalvanized) carbon steel. Also, aluminum (6061, etc) and 304/316 stainless steel are available for your custom enclosure, electrical box and cabinets. All the carbon steel and EG custom enclosures, electrical boxes and cabinets are always cleaned, degreased and then phosphate rinsed to prevent rust corrosion before electrostatic powder coating and/or wet painted. Only "top quality" TigerBox powder coating finishes and wet paint materials are used in fabrication. Many of of the TigerBox enclosure coatings used for fabricaton are UL listed. Nemaco uses only top quality materials for the TigerBox rough and tough NEMA boxes.  Sorry, we do "not" use low quality metal or materials.

Depending upon the NEMA enclosure style, NEMA listing (if applicable), application and/or any special requirments by a customer, then the enclosures may be fastened by screws, pop-rivets, bolts and/or welded construction. Most of the time, the exterior mtg brackets (if applicable) are welded to enclosure for additional strength.

UL listed gaskets are installed on some Tigerbox 3R Style NEMA Enclosures as an option.

NEMA 4 TigerBox Custom Enclosures
The NEMA 4 Tigerbox Enclosures are made from carbon steel (or EG), welded (including stitch and/or plug welding for additional strength) and then cleaned, degreased. All the enclosures are phosphate rinsed to prevent rust corrosion before powder coating. Then the powder coatings are applied by electrostatic spray. Customers may choose from many Super Tiger Colors. And ... also wet paint coatings and many textures are available.

Stainless NEMA 4X TigerBox Enclosures, Electrical Cabinets (304/316 Stainless Steel)
The NEMA 4X Tigerbox StainlessEnclosures are made from 304/316 stainless steel depending on the customers project requirements. All the NEMA 4X enclosure seams are continuously welded. And the TigerBox NEMA 4X enclosure mounting brackets and "tiger lifting eyes" (if applicable) are stitch and/or plug welded for additional structual strength. Then the custom NEMA 4X enclosures are cleaned and degreased. The NEMA 4X Surface finish options include: super nice TigerBox grain finish; and our economical cost 2B (no finish) and/or nice orbital (small circle pattern) finish. Most of the custom NEMA 4X enclosures are pickled and passivated for rust prevention. Passivation: Nitric acid and/or phosphoric acid electrolysis to reduce residual corrosion and repair the stainless steel surface corrosion resistance on welded sections (hinges, corners, edges and exterior mtg brackets). Most of our NEMA enclosures included UL listed gaskets and they gaskets are installed per UL requirements.   These enclosures "shall not" be considered UL listed.  But the most of the NEMA enclosures have "off the shelf" or UL listed gaskets. 

TigerBox Powder coating is available as an option for custom NEMA 4X (304 & 316 series) stainless steel enclosures and boxes.

Aluminum NEMA 4X TigerBox Enclosures, Electrical Boxes & Cabinets
The custom aluminum NEMA 4X Tigerbox enclosures, electrical boxes and cabinets seams are continuously welded for strength. The aluminum enclosure mounting brackets and "Tiger Lifting Eyes" (if applicable) are stitch and/or plug welded for additional strength also. Then the custom aluminum NEMA 4X enclosures are cleaned and degreased. Surface finish options include: our super nice TigerBox grain finish; economical cost 2B (no finish) and our nice orbital finish. These NEMA aluminun enclosures "shall not" be considered UL listed.  But the most of the NEMA enclosures have "off the shelf" or UL listed gaskets installed.

Many TigerBox Powder coating, Alodine and Anodized colors are available as an option for the NEMA 4X (6160) aluminum enclosures.

 NEMACO Custom TigerBox TR19 Rack Mount Enclosures(19" Rack Mount Enclosure)
The TR19 Tiger Racks (19" Rack Mount EIA Enclosures) are available in power coated coated carbon steel rack rails and 304 stainless steel aslo. The custom TigerBox 19" Rack Mount Enclosures are available on special request for almost any size. Ask Nemaco for the details about other TigerBox designs.
